Just moved here from Germany and looking for somebody to take me out.......

hi everybody,


my name is thomas, i am 27 years old and just moved to north vancouver from germany 2 month ago.

i am totally addicted to flyfishing, since i started it 1 year ago i cant think about anything accept this wonderful sport!

my problem is, i dont know anybody here so far(flyfishing guys), and i feel bad when i think of the possibilitys i miss cause i dont want to go fishing allone....i simply dont know what exactly is goin on here.


jes i went to rice lake and caught a lot of stocked trout.....

and jes i went to some fishing stores and asked what possibilitys i have here

....nice...but not satisfying at all.

it would be great to meet somebody who is experienced in bc and knows the waters and the secret spots ....


i want to learn everything, i am so exited to go out and fish and have a great time .....finally....

There are lots of opportunities for you here. You just have to do a bit of exploring. Even the beaches along the Burrard Inlet are worth spending some time on.
