    Nice flies there guys.

I hope it's not a hassle for me to change my submissions at the last minute - I decided to go with something a little different for the wet fly.

I'll pop by the shop today (Sunday) and drop these guys off on my way back to McNeill.

Oh ya, and I guess who ever had administrative powers on the site could delete my other submission pic to avoid confusion, unless I'm allowed to have two sets of submissions???

With One day to go it seems that we need to start our engines...it's not fair the Btree is on the North Island where I am trying to egt to..Any Steel' yet Ben??
Like your change...that fly or something similar is a dynamite fly on the Bulkley...can't wait to see them...
So..Summer Run Steelhead are appearing in small numbers as normal..and will as always temp our flies..I fished the entire Upper Stamp River by myself yesterday in pursuit of Silver, nothing large but did get several smaller Fish in the 4lb.range, saw only One larger fish ...however,the water is a bit high and that does limit both the success and visibility ...but I have to tell you the Dry Fly worked very well..
Let's get everybodies flies up and onto the site...
Contest ends tomorrow ..will need some help with the "making the big choice"..the Poll

Ya the body is a knock off lazer wrap ( cut apart a blow up floating raft i found) and ya i really like the ribbing, it was a type of french tinsel that i just saw for the first time a few weeks ago, pretty much a flat wire with some "dots"
im hoping to get over there soon to give them a try

No steel yet there C. But drempt I caugth a nice ~10lb doe last night, in anticipation of heading to the lower Kokish canyon this afternoon after work. Water is consistently dropping a few inches each day - about a foot since last week, and it's sunny today!

Had on a nice fish of some kind Sunday evening on the Salmon river at the highway/White river junction pool. About 20" or so, took a big black bugger swung just under the surface - but it managed to flip off and free itself in teh shallows before I could lay an hand on her - didnt fight much, so I figured it's a spawned out Dollie. Really snakey looking fish as it slowly swam away in ~6" of water 10 feet away. Brown backed thin fish...

I assume you found my flies under the door of your shop? They were in an envelop... I hope they survived the somewhat rough treatment it took to get them under there.

Any way, back to work here - 4 more hours till I can wet a line today!

Ok, I'm still a beginner, but I thought I'd give this a go. I've added mine. Advice welcome.

It has been a long time coming...but we do have a winner...the options were few and the flies were all good patterns that I personally would fish with confidence..my choice was actually BTREE'S Steelhead Bee, but that was only my choice that doesn't count at the end. The wet fly tied by TBAR was second in the voting ..very nice fly,,but the winner with overwhelming vote numbers from whom we all would learn greatly from ,especially considering several of these fellows actually fished with(a bit) and learned from Haig Brown..one of the gentlemen is still fishing strong at a mere 83years young..and it took him several minutes to decide between Tbars and the winners fly.
    Attachment 1631Attachment 1630.
.I have to say there were some new ideas brought out with these flies ...very creative...
