    Default Spring Fishing Trip

A group of us are thinking of going to Campbell Lake south of Kamloops for 2 week fishing trip at the end of May. I understand that there is an ATV trail between Campbell Lake and Roche and surrounding lakes. Does any one know if that trail is pass able? And are there any Lakes arround Campbell Lake that are fishable? Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

The road into Campbell can be really greasy if it has just rained so I would phone the local flyshop before your trip to get the forecast. I'm assuming you're pulling trailers. Scuitto is close to Campbell and can be decent for some good sized 'bows. I'm not familiar with the trail going to Roche as most of my trips have been one day trips.

Yes we are pulling Trailers in so I will get a report before going in. Have you fished Campbell Lake and how is the fishing there?
We have spent most of our lives fishing from 100 mile and north but last fall fished some Lakes around Meritt and found some great fishing closer to home.
    Thanks for the info.

Campbell is a great chironomid lake and those fish just love black/red microleeches. Shallow lake with great shoals. If it was me, and only if it was me, I would camp at the provincial park at Lac Le Jeune which leaves you central to a ton of lakes. If your group is interested in quadding to satellite lakes then LLJ is not such a great idea. Either way, let me know where you are as I'll be in the area at the end of May and I'll pop in one evening for a chinwag!

Well, if she's as kindhearted as my wife you should have no problem. My wife is supportive of my need to spend so much time on the water and just as long as she accompanies me, all our holidays being fishing holidays is fine with her.
