I happened upon that one about a year ago, and it added ten yards to my cast. I 'm ususally in a float tube, where the water will eat any mistakes, and can be unforgiving.

I love guys who can make you think in a whole new way, and make it relevant to the real world.

If anyone has ever golfed and tried the "medicus" - you could also make a flyrod that has the hinge in the middle - might be another gadget that you could make a mint off of as a teaching tool.
