Hey wait a min., when did the rules change? It has always been specified dates for lakes, in the past.

Dude where you bin? Under a rock? When Harmonization and Simplicity was the new program uttered by the "powers that be" things changed. Nothing is the same any more. Now there are lakes you can icefish and lakes you can't! Simple eh? Morgan and Six Mile used to have an April 1st opening but no more, you just can't icefish them..........but that doesn't stop those redneck locals in Savona! All those trophy lakes that used to have a May 1st opening are now fishable once the ice is gone.

Ruger - you only have 3 on your "need to fish" list LOL I think i have like frigging 30 !!! looks like i will be trying new lakes and finding favourites over the next few years. I cant wait until my son is older so i can share these experiences with him and of course take him to lakes where you get large amounts of fish to get him interested

Okay Jacko is back on the list ............. not that it ever got taken off LOL

with Morgan & 6mile iced off, how far behind is Jacko normally ?? couple weeks

Ice off=fish on--sweet. I knew we moved up to the interior for a reason.

yeah, i've only got 3 new lakes on my list this year. i've got about a dozen or so other ones that i've fished once or twice in the past that i'd like to get back to though. i really have no idea how much fishing i'm going to get in this year. it all depends on how school ends for me and whether i pick up work locally or move out of the valley like ive been hoping of doing.
