If you have the room (garage, basement?) simply deflate the pontoons, and hang the whole assembled boat on the wall.

Hi All,
I recently bought myself a Discovery IR9 pontoon boat and now find myself wondering how to store it. No mention of proper technique in the manual.
1) Do you roll or fold your pontoons?
2) Is it necessary to take out the bladders?
3) I was thinking a hockey bag might be large enough to hold all the gear but if anyone has any other suggestions, they are more than welcome to chime in.
Thanks

Good topic. I have never given it much thought. The way I learned to store them was to just roll them up. I'll be interested in hearing how others store their pontoons.
I usually take a bit of air out of the bladders in case it gets warm so they don't pop. I just hang it in the shed usually. I like to leave it mostly inflated so its one less thing to get ready when I wanna fish.
Unfortunately i live in a downtown Vancouver shoebox and don't have a storage locker or shed.
i have a big hockey bag that i store mine in. i can fit both deflated pontoons in when rolled/folded down tight, the frame, the seat, the pockets, and the pump in the bag. makes life easy.
however, since i also have 2 garden sheds, i now deflate the pontoons, and park them with the pump in the bag, and leave the frame assembled. that way when i get to the lake all i need to do is pump up the pontoons and strap on the frame.
i have a 9' FishCat Cougar.
The frame hangs on the wall of the garage as well as oars, tie downs, anchor etc. The pontoons are (after ensuring they are dry) rolled and put in a hockey bag and stored in the basement where it doesn't freeze.
I have a Skykomish Sunrise and I made a pulley system in my garage (12ft ceiling) and I leave the whole thing assembled and hoist it to the roof, very quick and it is always ready to go.
Like you I live in a condo with limited space for storage. I have a Discovery IR10 and can fit everything into a large hockey bag except the frame and paddles. I've never taken out the bladders and simply fold the pontooons over. So far no problems.
At the end of the season I deflate the pontoons and store the in the house folded, then put the frames and ores in the camperet
