    Default pics of flies! any help!

    I want to post some pics of flies and having mixed results with the actual picture taking of the fly any suggestions? Here are two that ive finally downloaded!! (took me forever!) thx appreciate your feed back!

    Click on Img button.
    Move cursor beyond closed square b racket (]).
    Paste your image URL
    Click on Img button again
    Move cursor beyond closed square bracket.

    Hi...nice flies...you might want to try using a slate grey/ light blue background...leave the fly in the vice and use a back drop.....I do a ton of photography for my wife's eBay business and learned that you really have to experiment. I am not a photographer so I make a lot of mistakes.....that is why I love digital.....erase and start over...LOL

    Thanx Kettlefisher!! I'm gettin there, have taken about 25-30 pics with a wide range of results!! Not particularily happy yet! But thanx for the feed back

    Default taking pics

    1. lt. blue / gray background (posterboard, etc.)
    2. NO Flash
    3. 2-3 other light sources (different angles)
    4. MACRO mode if your camera has one
    5. Use a shutter cable if your camera has that feature and mount the camera (tripod, etc.)
