The flies are coming in and looking good. I've updated the first page to show which flies have been received. If I haven't sent you mt address please PM me and I'll do so.
    Thanks

Mine are tied and will go out on Monday.

This is what I have done:

    Faceted Goldhead Bug

(this one was from the reject pile - the ones you will get are better)

    Hook: TMC 3761 size 12
    Thread: Camel
    Head: Faceted 5/32 Tungsten
    Tail: Pearl Krystal Flash
Body: Golden Dubbing (can't remember the exact color)
    Rib: Medium Gold Tinsel
    Thorax: Coarse Brown Dubbing

This nymph can also have lead wire under the thorax to get it deep quicker, and I also will use burnt orange for the thorax, as well as olive body with either color of thorax.

I hope it works out for y'all!

So um, what's the status on this swap? There hasn't been much action here since the 6th. Are all the flys in Bead Head?

Crap guys, I'm sorry. My flies are in the mail TONIGHT!!!

I completely forgot, what with the Olympics and other stuff at work.

seeing how the last man standing has not replied to this swap, and it is 3 days over due, being the 17th., what are you proposing to do Bead Head..do you wait or is it customary to by-pass this chap and start the mailing?

This is quite common and I understand that in the grand scheme of things peoples lives take priority over a fly swap. I have no problem waiting an extra week. I'll send PMs to those who are late to see what their status is.
    Thanks to everyone for participating.

okey dokey, mine are on the stagecoach to BH so here's what I've tied. I hope you like them; and if you don't, you've got a new TMC200R hook, lol.

Sorry for the dark picture. I'm incompetent when it comes to taking pictures.

    Recipe:
    TMC200R size 8, pinched
    6/0 black uni thread
.20mm lead wire, about 6 wraps
    Antron dubbing, dark stone color
    Brown vinyl ribbing
    Black goose biots
    Mottled oak turkey feather

You're right, and the fish around here don't care. Most of the Kaufmann's I've seen don't have them either, so that's the way I tie them. Hope you like your hook.
