You take an an anti static bag, cut it into strips, then wrap a strip around a hook (along with some other materials), and call it a chronie.
Fly fishing is not only a method to catch fish, but a state of mind.

Anyone have a few pictures of examples and the raw materials used, particularly the bag used...I'm still mystified.

I'd get in, but kinda short time frame (I'm doing a few other swaps).

JohnK's Patriot is an example of this type of fly. A sample recipe would be

    Mustad C49
    Gils - White Antron
    Bead - Black BH
    Underbody - Brown Holographic Flashabou
    Overbody - Antistatic Bag
    Rib - Copper Rib
    Coating - Loctite

Basically a chronie with an extra body layer. The bag is the same bag that aftermarket Hard Drives for your computer come in. If you don't have one kicking around, go down to your local computer shop and ask for a spare. Preferably a translucent one.

SPF, talk to Ron at the Kamloops shop and perhaps he has a bunch of strips already cut or you could PM your address to me and I could mail some out.

I'm in but I think you better give people more time. For guys that don't have strips readily available, 10 days is a bit of a rush.
