how do a post pictures to my posts
i know stupid question. I really suck with computers.

One way is get an account with a photo host like Photobucket or Flickr. Upload your photos there then link to them here. Each hosted pic will have an URL you can select, then put [img] at the front of the url and [/img] at the end and the pic should show up in your post.

Ok, even easier - just noticed that at the top of the "quick reply" box is a line of tools. 3rd from the right is an "insert image" button. Copy your URL from your photo hosting site, hit that button and paste your URL. It automatically inserts the [img] [/img] tags. Nice!

When you hit the "insert image" box, you can add the "linked image" URL by cutting and pasting.

I usually have two windows open, one with the picture in question already uploaded to one of my albums at FFBC, and the other window with the reply I'm posting. I copy the "linked image" URL from the picture and them paste it into the box for inserting my image.

OK, i can't find a "linked image" url to cut and paste, just a "linked thumbnail", a "linked medium", " mediukm image","HTML code", and a direct link". the problem is that I don't know which one to cut and paste.
very cool lookin' flies guys. keep'em comming.
i will probaly do some tying today. i was gonna go fishing but woke up to 2 inches of snow and it is still comind down.

Ok, I'll try to do a better job of explaining how I do things. Mind you this way only works with pictures already uploaded to FFBC in one of your albums. I dont know how to do this with say "photo bucket" or other websites.

So I clicked "Reply to thread" and the quick reply box pops up. At the top of the text window there is the B I U etc. and then the "insert link" - "insert image" - "insert video" buttons along the top. I click "insert image" and a pop up window says "Please enter the URL of your image:"

What you want to paste into that box is the URL for the "linked image" which I'll explain next.

First of all, before you up load pics to FFBC, you need to reduce the size/dimensions so that it's around 600x400 pixels. Any larger and you will not be able to upload it.
Then find your picture in what ever album you uploaded it to and click on the picture. Scroll down to "picture details" and notice that there are several URLs: "Linked Thumbnail", "Linked Image" HTML etc... What I use is "Linked Image" - I copy that long string of code and paste it into the other pop up box from above.

Then I hit post reply and voila - 99 times out of 100 the picture works for me =D
