    Question 12'6 cnd black spey or 13'4 loomis metolius

    looking for help for a light spey rod for coho and trout any imput on these two 5/6/7 weight rods would be great will use a skagit line for the reel. mostly using in the lower mainland as well thanks for all replies.

    both rods are nice but personally i like rods a little shorter for coho and trout fishing with a double hander...
    11'6" to 12" then u can single hand as well if needed. The loomis rod is too much of a rod for trout unless u are consistantly catching trout over 3pounds with it. I know a few guys who use it to fish the vedder for steelhead.
    Check out a sage5120..might be able to get a good deal because they are replaced by the z-axis blank.

    ERIC thank you very much will look at the sage as well for now just shopping around this will give me another option to look at thanks a gain cheers
