Green is flyfishbc! I agree with warrior, this is totally different content from bcfr and deserves its own look. (Flybc is blue, let's just not go there.)

Agreed! As you can see, it will be staying green. I pretty much have the style complete, just a few minor adjustments still have to be made!! Thanks guys for your feedback!!

well, guess i'll be the first to say it. i don't really like the new look. the old look was much sleeker and refined in my opinion. this one looks like a children's board that my 11 year old sister surfs. rounded corners, everything is larger and it doesn't even spread over the whole page, left to right. too much scrolling. i haven't had any glitches, but i just don't like the style. it seems too plain. and the post boxes are about 2 times too large. again, extra scrolling. i'm going to turn off avatars and signatures to tighten things up. too bad, since i like some of the pictures and i find the signatures interesting. oh, and the "blog this post" thing, yeah, that's way too pre-teen. dump that please. and what the heck is up with the stupid google ad in the first post on each page? that's irritating as hell.

imo, we should go back to the old format. there was nothing wrong with it.

sorry if this sounds like one big complaint. it's meant as my observations and as constructive criticism .

I agree with Ruger about there being a bit too much scrolling, but I do like the new format overall. Finding it faster and easier to do my daily reading.

Perhaps some sort of poll might be in order just to find out what people use 99% of the time, or would like to see in the future.

For me, this is how I usually navigate:

1st stop - check new posts
2nd stop - check new photos
3rd stop - check the classifieds
4th stop - perhaps the fly gallery, but that's usually it.

So I like that there is a feed on the right hand side about latest activity, and I like that the "what's new" button is big and easy to click.

When I first checked out the new format, I had to do left/right scrolling to see everything, but it seems that has changed for the better and now I dont have to do that

I like that I finally have figured out how to post pictures inside my posts, not sure if that changed, but suddenly I could figure it out easier in this format...but likely nothing changed there and I'm just not so good at this internet thing.

Not too sure about the blog thing, but it's nice to see some vids on fly tying for those who cant just look at a pattern and figure it out on their own.

As long as it's easy to upload pics and vids and easy to see large, high resolution pictures, then I'm happy. I like photo essays, so the more capacity to upload pictures attached or included with fishing stories the better.

Thanks for changing the format, even if there are still a few quirks we might do without, at least we're thinking about it and making it better one step at a time.

oh, and I like the green!

Love the new look, much less generic forum type of look,.. green is my fav colour so I can't argue the colour. So far everything seems to work fine on Safari under Mac. Keep up the good work
