Steelhead Rookie fly fishing Veteran

Ive been Fly fishing for about 15 years but have not targeted steelhead yet. I just moved to Nanaimo and have researched the topic throughouly and am excited to get out there and try it. I fished the Quatse in Port hardy today but it seemed pretty low, but am going to be trying to hit rivers from Duncan to Port hardy over the winter and am always looking for people to go with and I dont mind sharing rides. Anyways if your interested in some steelhead adventures with sombody new to the species I'd be glad to have some company and advice!! reply to this thread if interested
