    Default ice off reports

We should start a thread for updated reports as lakes becomes ice free.
on that note, any lower elevation lakes ice free yet in the interior or is it going to be a late start to the season this year.

I know that Stoney and Minnie are ice free on Douglas Lake Ranch and they are offering a half price deal for the month of April at Stoney Lake Lodge.
Believe its $125/night meals and boat included, but, dont quote me on that.

I drove to Edith and Jacko today and both were still under full ice. Jacko looked like it was starting its thaw, but Edith was still frozen enough that I could walk on it.

Hopefully Edith will be good to go by the end of the month.

Jacko is free and busy. Today there were 12-15 cars out there. Lots of action.

Edith is probably 40% free. Will be good to go in a week,

not bad, thought it was going to be late for ice off this year in that area.

Default Ice free lakes around okanagan

Sawmill, courtney, osprey, yellow, rose valley, hidden, and white are ice free and have april 1 open dates. Went to courtney on sunday...caught a nice one around 9 lbs but other than that it was very slow. Still went home with a smile. Tight lines...may is just around the corner! cheers
