gear/line pooling?

I am always tinkering with my gear and trying new spey lines but it gets a little pricey purchasing new lines to try. i was wondering if anybody would be willing to set up ar help in an exchange program to swap stuff to try. that way if i try a line from somebody and liked it, i could go out and buy it, and if i don't then i am only out the shipping to and from the person i borrowed it from. this could also be applied to books, videos etc.(i got a few spey and steelhead books and videos). what do you guys think about this idea?
