rainbow fishing is on!

well with the cold weather starting, the lakes turn on for the next few months.the rainbows are coming ashore . buddys out the other day landed over 50 rainbows. A personal boat record was broken with a 16lb fish caught by a visiting lower mainlander. leaches are the main diet of the larger fish right now. last year i got 3 fish well over 2o lbs......fly fisher 3000 had a nice big fish to the boat that would have gone close. i love the coast.... the grass is greener on the other side ,for all but here...... the lakes rarely freeze ,and the trout are big,i can farm all year and never need much more than a hoodie .i love this land we call the Salish coast.....i call it cutthroat country .....

i live here in powell river along with patches. theres some at the local shops. ill see if i can photo copy it or something. theres big fish to be found here.
