    Default Surrey-Green Timbers

Whats the scoop, I just found this lake, but unfortunately I didnt have My fly rod. Is it simillar to Mill lake. A public park you can just go toy around with your new rods or your 3wt?

    Good practice pond.
Some gear chuckers at times and not too much etiquette.
Good roll cast place not too much back cast room.
Have caught old brood stock on black woolys.

I was just at Timbers today and landed 5 and missed some others. Its a great lake to dangle a chironie at especially for getting yourself into practice for the interior after a winter of salmon/steelhead fishing I will be back up there sometime this week for a couple/few hours i imagine.

these fish can be very fussy just like any trout. I have had days where its a fish a cast and other days where 8hrs fishing only netted me a couple fish but hey its called fishing not catching right. My average on the lake is usually 6-10 fish though but i have also been hitting it for 10yrs now LOL

No boats or floats or even wading.
    Nature park I guess.

I would like to see Surrey lake opened and stocked with bass.
