Default Opinions/Comments on Bucks Bags Pontoon Boat

Evening all; buddy of mine in Bellingham bought an eight foot pontoon boat at their local Costco; manufacturer is a company from Idaho called Bucks Bags and the model is "High Adventure". The thing was under $400! Checked it out this weekend when I was visiting and it seems like a nice little rig, wondering if anyone else has had any experience with Bucks Bags boats (holy alliteration Batman!) good, bad or ?? With the dollar as strong as it is right now I'm thinking for four hundred bucks I might just treat myself. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
It's a fine line between "hobby" and "obsession!"

From what I understand bucks is one of the top boats, but if you look on there site at the "high adventure" it is there bottom of the line boat and has a steel frame, M&Y has a bbags boat with a stainless frame for $750, I think it is the South fork model, I think if you plan to run any rivers with it you might want to look at a stainless frame, of course much better resale and longer lasting.

I've owned a BB Southfork for 4 years or so. Eight foot pontoons and a stainless frame - I've had it in class II and even a little class III water and lots of time on the lakes. It is a quality boat. I'm not sure about the lower end model at Costco, but for $400 can it really be that bad of a risk?

Are you sure this is a pontoon boat? My buddy has a BB High adventure (or so it says on the bib) and it is a V-boat. I will say that it's a nice rig, easy to get in and out of and sturdy. The only problem he's had is that he somehow punctured the tube while we were fishing one day. Whether it was a faulty tube or his own fault I don't know but that's kind of a big problem.

I have a Bucks Bags Hi and Dri round tube and I think its great. Very well constructed and durable. I'm sure the rest of their products are just as good.

I have the BB southfork and the BB hi and dri. I like the southfork. Got alot of add on stuff like 2 rod holders, 2 anchors, cup holder, fishfinder if needed, couple of storage bags, a tube for those bathroom emergencies. Man, i could stay out all day!! Haven't used the hi and dri belly boat yet, but looking forward to trying it and simplifying fishing.
