    Default pierce lake

Hiked up to pierce lake and the fish did seem very hungry. I was wondering if anyone knows what to use in this high elevation lake?

I fished it a few years ago after I hiked up with a small raft in my pack (it's quite a hike for a day trip). It certainly helped to be able to move to where they were jumping.
I had good success with leech patterns in black and red. I can't recall if they were 'bows or cutts, but they were quite aggressive and it seemed I could use just about anything. Nothing bigger than 12" though.

thanks. I heard that the only fish available there are bows and some small kokanee. I saw a few some pretty big fish jumping, but mostle all the fish were around 12-14 inches. Sight casting makes up for this though
