Effective 00:01 hrs October 1, 2009 until 23:59 hrs December 31, 2009, the
daily limit of wild or hatchery marked coho salmon in the Campbell River
downstream of the confluence of the Quinsam River is four (4) per day, of which
only 2 may be over 35 cm and must be hatchery marked. Minimum size limit is 25
cm.
This is an amendment to the 2009-2011 Fresh Water Salmon Supplement of the
Sport Fishing Guide and the table on page 6.

Notes:
Barbless hooks are required when fishing for salmon in tidal and non-tidal
waters of British Columbia.
The term "hatchery marked" means a fish that has a healed scar in place of the
adipose fin.
Sport anglers are encouraged to participate in the voluntary Salmon Sport Head
Recovery program by labeling and submitting heads from adipose fin-clipped
chinook and coho salmon. Recovery of coded-wire tags provides critical
information for coast-wide stock assessment. Contact the Salmon Sport Head
