    Default Powell River Boys

Hi Y'all. Have you guys heard of a 9x10 Roosevelt that was taken with black powder there recently? Seen photos and it is a beauty full of character.

On a related note: While working at the plant night before last, we were sitting at our picnic table on the property line having a coffee break and messing around with bugles and Hoochie Mamas when a 5x5 bull came crashing through the bush and out onto the road at our plant entrance. It was absolutely comical as he pranced back and forth across the road trying to find the source of the call. I would venture a guess that the rut has started!
And, no, neither of us brought bows to work! Would've been so easy!

Haven't heard of the that elk here. But it wouldn't surprise me. They are doing real well here. It wasn't that long ago that they were transplanted here. Pretty cool that their doing well enough to have a hunt for them here the last couple of years.

That "certain first nations" guy you mentioned. Was that anything to do with the elk that got poached last year or the year before?
