Hey Maverick... can't say about your fly on the Cowie... only because it isn't coming up on my computer. Is it in photobucket or somewhere else? Just a quick question, how many are we tying? Assuming 12 swappers, if we all tie 12 and receive 11 in the mail (I'm sure we don't need a copy of our own!) that will leave a complete set of 12 for the fly o'the month. Does this make sense or should I smoke something else?![]()

well go ahead and smoke something else. helps creativity. i dunnno jsut something ive noticed in other swaps is that you get one of your own, in the rules it mentions it bnut i understand. i dunno. twelves good then everybody got that. if you;ve sent yuors already then ill jsut return it to you. 12 flies, 1 of those for the FOTM contest

I thought you suggested to tie an extra for the FOTM competition and just wanted to know for sure how many flies were required for the swap... and no, I haven't sent anything. I think I've finally settled on a pattern with what I have on hand for materials.![]()
in truth WW i was suggesting that before that we send 13 but now just twelve as we don't all need one of our own. lol. can wait for everyone flies.
Jake
come on guys we could use more contributors.
Jake
If there are just 6 of us, do we still get back a dozen, or will all the leftovers go to the FOTM stockpile? On occasion it's nice to have two of patterns that work well, especially if you have no idea as to what materials were used or how to tie them![]()
now were all generous folk btree, but theres no way im parting with a possible 5 or 6(whatever it is) flies cause yes itd be awesome to get double back. i think itd be nice that way actually, but of course people are more than welcome to join, just post it.
Jake
why dont we do two sets of 6 so each person gets 12 differnt flies? just an idea

it's all fun and games untill someone looses a fish
i like that. should we close it and send them out when ever possible. what you guys think.
