Fishing Report for August 26th, 2009

Pinks!

Lots of pinks down on the beaches. It won’t be long until they are in the lower Fraser in fishable numbers. So much fun. A great way to introduce someone to the sport of fishing. Fly fishing, spinning, jigs, it all works for these feisty fish. Just remember, Pinks love pink. Oh and check the fishing regulations for openings as well. We will post them at the shop as we get them.

Kentucky was fishing well with a yellow coachman fly trolled by one of our skilled ( lucky ) customers.

Walloper with worms gave up 7 fish in two hours for a friend and his lucky kids.

In general the fishing is starting to pick up in the lakes with the cooler nights.
Trolling with Lyman plugs and Frisky Fly/Bingo Bugs continues to produce as well.
