Subject: FN0524-Recreational Fishery - Salmon: Type of gear or bait change in Cowichan River - Region 1

Effective 00:01 hours August 1, 2009 until 24:00 hours November 15, 2009, the
Cowichan River will be open to Fly-Fishing only downstream of the weir at
Cowichan Lake, to lower Marie Canyon (described as 50 metres below the
confluence with the unnamed creek which drains Mayo Lake – in the 2009-2011
Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis)
