"Expect (pray for?) in season changes", or even better, hit the beaches (they'll be a little brighter and make better table fare)! just my
I'd stop in at the River sportsman or Tyee Marine, they'll know where the action is

Here's the link for the salmon supplement;

I am going to fish for pinks in the Campbell River at the end of July, but the regs say that the limit for Pinks is 4 after August 15. There's that line at the top - "Unless otherwise stated in the table, the daily limit in all water of Region 1 is zero (0). "
Does this mean I won't be able to retain any when I'm there?
Any clarification would help - although I think I'm going to get an answer I don't want.....

Thats correct...you can't retain any until August 15th,that has been the deal for many years...the need to secure enough Brood stock is paramount to retention.However,in that area there are so many opportunities in salt water it really isn't an issue...and the Salmon in Salt water are better food fare!Here's the link for the salmon supplement;
