    Default dry patterns for searuns

    i read one post and someone said the searuns were hammering their dry flies. i was jsut wondering what pattersn and sizes one would use for those. thanks for the help.

    It wasn't me, but we've had success over the years with a variety of dry patterns for sea-runs.

    Gurglers, Miyawaki's Popper, a modified Green Machine & small crease flies have all been bit.

    I'm sure there are others with much more experience that will hopefully chime in.

    small humpys ...yellow bellys for yellow bellys. got some nice fish last night in the bay.they were fining on the top and crusing around . i should have been fishing a dry line and a long leader but i had a sink tip ,so there was no hope of fishing the dry.call me next calm night and we can go giver er a swing.
