Furled Leaders

Does anyone have any experience with furled leaders and the Loop to Loop method of tying them onto the fly line. Thks for your help

Hey Spiker.
People either seem to love or hate them.
They do transfer energy well and turn over, but they are not as stealthy me thinks.
I have talked to a couple of blokes who like to use a furled butt on their skagit type systems when fishing floaters, as they seem to grab better and give a better anchor. I.E. my line ending up behind me.
If you try one let us know what you think.

Is Mike lake accessable yet? They had the park closed last week due to tree cleanup.
