Default Watch Lake (70 Mile House) Input

My family will be there during the 1st week of July.
I am wondering if fishing will be good.
Any advise will be most appreciated.
    Thanks.

try and look up the episode that Sport Fishing on The Fly did on Watch lake. they had some great tips on that show. I have been to that lake but i was a teenager and didnt fish much or the fly. did manage a couple fish and a bite from a dragonfly !!

if you have a depth finder it will help out, i would concentrate near the shoals/dropoffs with the usual suspects

all i can remember from the show is they caught most of the fish on black/maroon micro leeches under an indicator....they were letting it wind drift though and were only getting fish when it was windy LOL

have fun up there as that lake does have some big fish in there

Thanks for the tips, 24 7 Fisherman.

As for me when I was googling Watch Lake on Sport Fishing on The Fly, Google tags the sfotf website as being " Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer!" since 6th June/09

I hope Don Freschi and his crew knows about this.

If you're having trouble catching 'em on flies you can always try bait fishing: used to catch quite a few using shrimp bait about 8 or 9 years ago. Seemed to catch less, though bigger, fish with each passing year though... Haven't fished that lake in about 5 years though...

    Good luck!!
