    Default new boat!

i got a boat for 10 bucks! its a 10 foot flat bottom wood boat. it leaked when i got it, but today i got it water tight. i sanded it down to wood, fibreglassed the seems and covered the whole boat in resin. it looks awsome now, and im sure that its going to be really stable for fly fishing.

awesome score! Interesting that it is wood, and I am assuming it is older, is it heavy at all?

should be a fun time on the lakes!

Nice! Looks like it was meant to be a little sabot, but it didn't get a mast post, a dagger board slot or a tiller. My Dad has a fibreglass sabot that we used to take out as a rowboat and it slayed plenty of trout

ya it was meant to be a sailboat. it had a hole for the dagger board, but i just fibreglassed over it. i also put a board on the back for a little transom so i can stick my eletric motor on it.

I'm hoping she makes out better than the original Andrea Gail did

Good deal for a boat like that!
