Hi rick & co

I moved to bc from Australia for a year.

That was in '05 and looks like that one year might last a long time.

I learnt to fly fish while living in Tasmania which is similar to BC without
the mountains. Mostly 1 or 2 lb browns.

We camped at Roche last year and I couldn't believe the fish. I must have
seen dozens of big cruising rainbows. Plenty of mosquitos too.

Caught nothing from the shore while guys on boats did pretty well.

I got myself a 13ft valco this year and hope to get on the water, but I have
Say, its hard to know where to go. I've tried Weaver Lake so far.

If anyone can help find the best fly fishing lake closest to Vancouver for a day
Trip it just might save my marriage.

Also, if I were able to get to Kamloops area early July, any suggestions on where
And what to fish?
