Guess nobody fishes this area then eh?
Well I'll be heading off on Monday so I guess I'll find out why...
It's near Chase from what I understand

Hey my family is heading up to Niskonlith Lake for their family reunion, and for the first time in 6 years I’m going to be able to make it up there.
They have cabins on the lake and a little aluminum boat and such. Anyways I’ve never fished the area and I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for fly fishing either on Niskonlith or nearby.
I’ll be there the first week of July.
Any info like what kinds of fishing, nymphs or streamers or chronimds ect would be great.
Thanks

If I'm not mistaken Niskonlith is in Wells Gray Park and, though I've never fished it, I would recommend getting in touch with Carlos of "Fishing with Carlos" who is the only guide licensed to guide in the park so if anyone knows he would.
With that said I would make sure you have sedge pupae and dries, gammarus shrimp patterns, a variety of leech patterns and attractors.
I definitely wouldn't go without that stupid little fly they call "Pumpkinhead."
Have fun up there, beautiful country......hope there's still some pine trees left!
thanks for that info I'll follow through
