Knouff Lake?
Well we have a trip planned to drive all the way to vancouver for a wedding on july 6th or something like that and we are going to stop at Knouff for 4-5 days on the drive up. Anybody Fish it at this time of year? We fished it 2 years ago and last year and managed a nice 22" bow but other wise it was slow and the fish were 16" and under.

sorry, i believe you misread, i said july 6th not june 6th. But 2 years ago i caught a beautiful gerard bow around the 10th of august right at the entrance of the creek that was 20"+ so im wondering if cause its earlier that it will be any better.
Yup. your right, but it is still a heavily fished lake. There are always some good fish to be had tho'. Earlier in the day or around evening will provide the best action. The deeper holes and channels have always been good to me. Read your PMsOriginally Posted by BH_flyfisher
