Ask and yee shall recieve.

I've been trying to source out a reciepe for Brian Chan's summerduck chrinomid, so far I haven't been having any luck. By chance would anyone out there have one that they would be willing to share?

They have a number of patterns in that with 2 ribs or more it seems...I saw a case of these at a local tackle shop. They looked pretty good, especially the more intricate chronies, and the caddis patterns. Judgeing by the fact that those patterns use exclusively Stillwater Solutions fly tying material, you can probably figure that the reciepe is...
Superwhite Bead
Summer Duck Midge Flex
Silver wire
...and is that a hint of a pearl underbody I see sticking out of the bottom of the body? Or is that just a tag end formed by the silver wire?
Does anyone know if the pattern is in the Stillwater Solutions Recipie book?
Brian's original Summerduck had a body of Frostbite #61 (summerduck).
somewhere theres a fly tyer that has a 'Matrix' like selection of fly tying materials. You know the scene where they first go into VR and hit up the gun selection room? Yah...I think I need something like that with flashabou's, frostbites, and midge flex-i.![]()
check out brian chans "stillwater recipes" book. Its got the summer duck in there.
