Now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure mine have gone down as well. Maybe we lost some with the "home page" error?
A trivial question, but here goes - how are posts counted? I've noticed that mine have marched up and then all of a sudden I notice that the number goes way down...
I was really close to the next level

I think I was in the high 400's and now I've dropped to near half that.
Any who. I'm more here for the info and the sharing of ideas, but I'm curious.
Thanks,
Ben

What happens is, when you delete a post/thread, or a post/thread gets moved, etc, etc or picture from the gallery gets deleted, it doesn't change your post count right away. The forum software has a program that recalculates everyones post counts to it's true post count number! I haven't ran this program for well over a year and thought maybe I should. btree, remember when you deleted all those pictures from the gallery right after you joined up??There is no post count conspiracy

I know...and I do recall that, but last week I was over 400, and now I'm back down below 300. I'm guessing that threads have just been archived or moved.
I was just hoping that I could grow as a fish, but it seems kind of impossible. Oh well.
No ones threads or posts have been deleted!! I ran the forum program that recalculates everyones post count!! If it says your post count is 299 then that is your accurate post count?? I just ran it 3 days ago, so that is why your post count has changed!! Like I said in the first post, when you delete a post/thread, or a post/thread gets moved, etc, etc or picture from the gallery gets deleted, it doesn't change your post count. Thats why I ran the forum program that recalculates everyones post count, so everyones post count is up to date!!![]()
I bet there where some yellow perch introduced into the system and they're eating all of the post counts. Devastating when that happens.![]()
Perhaps is bass!
Any way, thanks Rick. It's not really a big deal.
