Here you go folks.
Fishing Report for May 12, 2009
Well what can I say about the weather.
It is not helping the fishing much.
In between fronts there is some decent fishing to be had.
Nicola Lake trolling with a lead line and ugly leech patterns is giving up some tasty rainbows.
You can’t go wrong with Dick Nites or Lyman plugs either.
Buck Lake should be ready to go for the long weekend according to one of my roving sources.
On Sunday Oyama was still a little hard to fish.
Glimpse is open and fishing O.K. with the usual micro leeches and chironamids.
Don’t forget to try Gomphus and all sorts of floating Dragons. One of my personal favourites.
Early morning at Marquart with a troll and wedding band or flatfish was paying off for one gent I spoke with.
Summer Duck chironamids @ Gwen seem to be the ticket.
We are hoping to have expanded reports soon with more folks getting out.
Have a great long weekend.

Don't you know the rule, Fred? You aren't supposed to even type the word "Gwen" on the Internet.
Actually when I used to live on Veale Rd. (which turns into Gwen Lk. Rd.) that used to be my go-to lake for hogs. The word has been out for a few years now and I haven't gone back but now go to new go-to's.
Hope you enjoy a very stress-filled long weekend and I'll see you Tuesday or Wednesday.
