Bonefishing in the Bahamas

Hey all, turning 50 this year want to go somewhere special. My thought is for bonefish. ideally in the Bahamas. I would appreciate any info regarding facilities, best islands and area's, times of year etc. The internet is great however info overload. I need some hand on from someone who has been.

A buddy of mine is heading down to the Crooked Island area. He has been going there for 15 years and loves it. He love to fly fish bones and permit. He walks the flats and sight casts for bones. Only problem is wind, 30 km all the time.
Check with Michael and Young in Surrey, they have lots of info on it.
