Started fishing about 52 years ago. Caught my first trout on a metal extendable fly rod. 5 years later got my first 3 piece glass fly rod with an automatic reel from the owner of Frenchies Sporting in Calgary. Have stayed with it my whole life and recently started to tye flies after a couple of decades not doing it. Do a lot of fishing up at my cabin in the cariboo and then hunting in the fall.
Still get a trill from fishing after all of this time.
