Bring a tube and wear lots of layers on any part of you that will be underwater. The water will be so cold that you'll be amazed that it's liquid (assuming, of course, that it has iced off now). I did well trolling a black w/ red sparkle micro leech along the near (trail) side of the lake and the inflow at the far end. This is just a guess, but I'd imagine that fishing chronnies in the shoal area around the inflow creek would be pretty effective this time of year. Did I mention that you should dress warm?

thanks for the info guys. didnt make it to lindeman today, ended up going to weaver and hiked around on the east side. waded in a bit, not much luck but was able to practice my cast some more and finally feeling alittle more confident. need to find some lakes with some nice clear shore lines to save me from losing flies on the back cast. weaver was fairly buisy with boats. might of had a hit on a mayfly nymph but then again it could have just been me imagining it.
