How come any of the pics in the threads don't show (for me at least) and instead have the infamous red X. When I click on it to view, I get a black screen in the middle of my monitor which looks as if it is loading the pic, but the pic never loads?
I can see the pics in the galleries but not in the threads.

Did you upgrade to Windows Explorer 8?? For some reason explorer 8 wont show those pictures?? Im sure if everyone complains enough there will be a fix or maybe it is a security thing, not sure I use Firefox! How come any of the pics in the threads don't show (for me at least) and instead have the infamous red X. I was just playing around with a setting, can you view the pictures now??
I have upgraded to IE8 and I am not very pleased with it. SO far the imcompatibility with so many websites has wreaked havoc. Although I think going back to IE7 will create just as many!!
I still cannot see the pics....

Clear your temporary Internet files and your history, then refresh!!

Just tried clearing Temp Internet Files and the such....no change still no pics....sh*tty MS products...
Can you see other pictures (ie: members avatars?). If not, try going into Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and see if there is something in there that's not selected correctly. If you can see avatars, then it's probably a java problem. At work, I can see the thumbnail of the picture but when I click on it I get the same "black box" issue that you get. It's because they have disabled java in our browsers.
Firefox is the best.
