Weaver lake?

Just wondering if anyone has been up to Weaver latley? I was wondering if the campground is still in clean shape and how the road going up is?? Im in a 2wdr pu. Ive heard that the fishing is decent but have not seen any recent post for that area. Thanks

Have been to Weaver a couple times in the past couple weeks and the fishing was very slow.
Fish were being caught but not that many of them.

The road in is in decent condition and there were a number of cars up there.

I would like to see a clean up take place as there is a fair bit of garbage up there and I did remove some myself. I don't see how they could ever charge anyone to camp in a garbage dump.

All in all it is still a beautiful lake to spend the day on!

was up at weaver today, probably about 15 vehicles parked and 4 or so campsites full. didnt bring any fish in but im new to the sport so that might be to blame. there were a couple empty sites on the east side (the ones you cant drive to) really beautiful lake though, i was impressed. we got up the road in 2wd and i didnt really notice to much garbage around
