It's ice free. Some people are having a bit of luck but most find it slow....wish it was ice free when I was there 1st week april, had to settle for skiing instead. I hear there's already 10 people deep linups by the seepage with bobbers.
was up there on the weekend and managed to hook into a nice 4.5lb beaut. Was an average of about 4 boats out there from when I was there. Great day for fishing
