    Default Good lake for Spring Break

    Hey just wondering what lakes would be good or atleast just iced off and the whereabouts

    I would have to say most, if not all of them are likely still frozen!

    I've always had good luck at Francis lake. I'ts a small lake so if your in a float tube its great and the fish can be plentifull.Its on the west harrison forsetry road, let me know and i can give you better directions. Do you have a 4 x 4 ???

    If chronies don't move them try a maroon or black leech. I prefer a beadhead bunny. Spratleys will worked trolled on Francis as well.

    Yes...leeches in black or maroon or olive...or even brown...big ones or even try micro-leech patterns too...had lots of hits on Tunkwa last spring on the micros! Cheers! -Nathan in NW
