Guys,

I am just starting to get into the Spey world and just picked up a Scot A2 1308 rod for a fantastic price from Fish Tales (403-640-1273/Elliot) here in Calgary. They also had a Sage FL1 14ft 8 wt and taking into teh fact it is a ft longer it was definitely a thicker rod. If anyone out there is looking for a Sage FL1 they only had 1 and it was $275. ($395 new). Call Elliot as he is a very knowledgable Spey fisherman say Bob referred you.

Having said all this does anyone have this Scott A2 1308 and if so can they tell me how they have it rigged? The shop has a Spey kit but I would like to canvas some advice first.
