    Exclamation New and hello!

hello everyone. i have just registered and become a member of this fine forum . lots of usefull info here. more than i can get my head around.
very excited to be here, and i hope to contribute to the weath of knowledge that is held in these digital pages.

I have one quick question that could not be answered by searching.

does anyone know of a cane rod building class that is local to vancouver island.
i am unable to travel to the U.S. and am deeply interested in learning the trade/art.

any info would be oh so very helpful.
    thanks

    Welcome,

Are you a bass player as also ?
This sight is very good, and ran well.

    Hello and welcome aboard.
    Look up Ron Grantham.

    http://members.shaw.ca/pisces45/

I believe there may be some links in there.
Ron is a fellow Totem Flyfisher and we have at least two other cane afficianados in the club, Gerry Arbeider and Bob Milward.

I believe there is a symposium every two years up at Peter Mcveys place at Corbett lake.

    Good luck
