You are a man after my heart. Have you noticed all the vintage iron around this area?:thumbs up: There's almost as much as there is litter in the valley! have you considered chevy's 572 cubic inch crate motor.(hehehe)

I will rebuild '64 Chev Impala
'70 Chev P/U and/or Suburban
'55 Chev Belair ( for Joan )
For the Impala I am thinking 5.7 stroker
P/U/Suburban begs for a big block
Belair will be a small 8 for Joan. (Unless she goes away and I dump in the stroker while she is gone)

I do love the old Suburbans with the barn doors.
The sweetest hunting machine ever belongs to a friend of mine:
2005 Ford Excursion Diesel
5' inch lift with 35" Dick Cepeks
you would probably love the on my son-inlaw drives daily.
2000 excursion v-10
10" of lift with 39" tires
warn high end hubs
european projector headlight ass.
chrome bus bar
black with gold accenting
I'm not a ford fan, but it's a sharp looking machine
my uncle re-built a 55 bel air and its is very nice, its is blue and silver with chrome accents, i have to say its quite awe worthy

My dad has a 48 Chev coupe, matte grey, shaved, channeled , chopped, lead , moon hubcaps.
He will not let no one else drive it.
Crusty 70 year old.
I want a 49 Merc or other lead sled.

I really want the Impala.
My old man had one and wouldn't sell it to me.
A few days before I turned 16 he sold it to a complete stranger for the same money I offered him.
I think I am still bitter.![]()
Sounds like or dads were from the same old school mold.
