    Hi guys, this is my first try at a salmon fly, hope you like it, any comments are more than welcome

    Hi Xavier,,,
    You are a very skilled tier...that flies looks good but likely won't catch fish...the sails are just that...I'll be a bit more critical than Fred...I grew up fishing Atlantic Salmon with Classic flies and realized many years ago that only certain fly body shapes will entice a Salmon to strike. You certainly have the skills to go much further...please keep tying these..you certainly inspire me.

    Fred, this is something I wanted to do since I started tying, but have always found it intimidating ehhehe but well waht can happend besides my fly not turning as I wish hehehehe so yes I'll be tying classic style flies hehehe

    slar, thanks for the comments and the pointer, actualy we do not have salmon around here I wan to tie flies mostly for exhibition puposes and also for tying competitions hehehe but someday I want to fish for Salmon an certainly would like to do it with my own flies
