I love hunting, golf and anything else that keeps others off the water.
Welcome Xavier, say that trout looks a little chunky but I cant make out what it is ? which fly did he inhale ?
Hello Xavier and welcome ...
Nice fish...is that a native Rainbow? You must be on the West side.
Many on this site may not realize but some of the small streams in North west Mexico at one time had small native Steelhead returns. I have read that there is a movement to restore these waterways..
Thanks for sharing your picture

Rick, yep that is river very close to where I live, maybe 45 min drive
Ross, I´m from the central part of Mexico, Puebla to be precise
2fly, it is a native strain of rainbow trout htey never lose their parr markings it took a cream caddis pupa
Salar, in fact there are about 5 diferent native trout species in Mexico, but people around here do not realiza the potential of our streams, which is good in the sense that they are not very pressured hehehe
Knot not, I also used to surf but in Zicatela down in puerto escondido hehe
Pesca...sounds like Bones and Baby Tarpon..Thanks everyone for the welcome
