So if ffff is quad or f to the 4th power and.......
You want to know what f[4] is...
Since 4 is an even number, we can factor a 2 out of the exponent of your problem, like this:
f[4]=(f[2])[2].
But, f[2]=-1, so your problem becomes:
-1[2].
This means, multiply -1 by itself 2 times, to get 1
(Remember, -1 raised to an even power is always 1, so -1[2]=1)
The final answer is:
f[4]=1
