hey out there: just moved to the merritt area dec. 1/08. anyone else out there. if so it would be great to get together and talk fishing, tying, or hook up for some day trips or weekenders. if so post or pm me.

Should be lots of guys in that area huckin flies....lucky to be living there with so many lakes within 1 to 1 1/2 hr drive to some big beauty fish. Reaction has a shop in Logan lake that would be some great guys to talk to.

thanks sawmill. all the fishing is one of the main reasons the wife and I moved up here. she's fish crazy too. we've been in reactions logan lake outlet. nice people, nice setup.
I know there must be a ton of fly chuckers around here, but the only response so far is phearless who's on his way. so, come on guys anyone else?

I'll be making a few trips this year to Big Ok/ Island lake to meet up with some good buddies of mine from Penticton so you're more than welcome to join us when we go, it's a blast there with those hard fighting high elevation bows.

we've been to island a couple of times, beautiful lake, and your rite the fish do hit pretty darn hard(GREAT FUN). haven't ever been to big ok, yet. when you plan on coming up just shoot me a PM and hopefully we can hook up.

I can't believe it. Am I the only one here on FFBC that is living in the heart of stillwater fishing central. I refuse to believe I'm the only one here, so lets hear from you guys that are around the Merritt area.

Unfortunately I'm on the other side of the Rockies niow but felt compelled to reply as no else has. Will be back there May 2nd to deliver flies to Kamloops Fly Shop and fish for two days and then again after May Long for three weeks for nuttin but fishin' so if you wanna hit a couple lakes let me know and we can hook up!!

thanks johnk sounds like a plan to me. shoot me a pm before you come out and we can make arrangements for the hook-up.but i'm still dumbfounded that there are not more FFBC members in the area, I figured this area would be crawling with them like a mid morning hatch coming off.
