    Default Flats fishing

Has anyone ever been in the Tulum area of Mexico?
I may have opportunity to go there in the future.

From what I understand there are Bones, Permit, Tarpon and Snook.
    As well as 'Cuda etc.

    Anyone?

I went there 2 years ago. But not for fishing. It was our honeymoon.

Default I would love to but.....

At this time it would be impossible.
I just moved to Merritt and have bought a business.
Looks like I will be tied up for awhile.
I do look forward to pics so I can live vicariously through you though.

    Tight lines.

    Default Too bouncy

Too much movement for me out there.
Give me the flats where I can wade some of the time and Freddie will be a happy man!
Something about sight fishing that just cranks me.

Just found out I get to go down to the Paya del Carmen area in June, all paid for at a very nice spot. Looks like I may get to find some salty water to fish.

It is going to be very very hot...you are actually not too far from Ascention Bay or Belize for that matter...most of the fishing there is off shore in the playa del carmen area...
